About This Role
MEHAIR, India's first and only seaplane operator, is seeking experienced Check Pilots (Type Rating Instructor/Check Pilots) for the Cessna 208 amphibian aircraft. This role is for Pilot in Command positions operating wheels and amphibian float variants based across multiple locations in India. The company is building a dynamic team focused on transforming regional connectivity with innovative, eco-conscious aviation solutions. Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct check and proficiency flights for Cessna 208 pilots
- Provide type rating instruction on Cessna 208 (wheels and amphibian float operations)
- Operate Cessna 208 on seaplane routes
- Ensure compliance with DGCA regulations and safety procedures
- Support pilot training and certification programs
Requirements
- Valid DGCA CPL or higher license (Indian or foreign holders welcome)
- Pilot in Command (PIC) experience on Cessna 208
- Type Rating Instructor/Check Pilot qualification for Cessna 208 (Wheels & Amphibian Floats)
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- RTR (Restricted Type Rating) and FRTOL (Fresh Restricted Type of License) where applicable
- Willingness to work at multiple locations across India
- Resume, scanned copies of license, medical certificate, and relevant documents required
