Air Arabia is seeking highly qualified Check Airmen and Instructors (TRE-TRI) to provide training and checking for flight crew in accordance with Air Arabia and GACARs. Candidates must have an ATPL, appropriate type ratings (A320, A321), and a minimum of 2 years experience as a Check Pilot/Instructor Pilot with an airline, delivering training on Airbus aircraft.
Requirements
- Provide training and checking for flight crew in accordance with Air Arabia DMM OM-D and GACARs
- Deliver ground, simulator, aircraft checking line checks, operating experience supervision and special purpose operational training
- Ensure that all training, checking and records meet GACA acceptance and company standards
- Conduct ground training flight or simulator training operating experience proficiency checks, Recurrent, line checks landing recency requalification LOFT and SPOT, Etc.. activities as authorized
- Participate in examiner/Instructors or standardization workshops as required by GACA or the company
- Conduct line checks and supervise operating experience as assigned
- Complete and submit accurate detailed reports and assessments of pilots under instruction in accordance with company guidance and policy via the existing electronic reporting system
- Secure training and checking records and submit required check reports to GACA as requested
- Maintain currency and validity as a check pilot / Instructor Pilot
- Conduct FSTD (Flight Simulator Training Device) type rating training and ground school in line with company procedures and requirements
- Conduct recency training as required by the company in accordance with the approved syllabus
- Conduct instructor and examiner simulator training
- Recommend additional or remedial training for trainee pilots who are not progressing at an acceptable rate as per expected performance standards
- Provide recommendations to training management for any changes that may improve efficiency, safety, quality of training and standardize procedures and teaching techniques
- Support with projects, course development and other tasks as required
- Conduct Initial, Transition, Upgrade, Ground courses, Etc..
- ATPL License (Aircraft Transportation License)
- Appropriately corresponding aircraft type rating certificates are essential (Airbus 320, 321)
- Check Pilot Certificate and / or Instructor Pilot
- Class 1 Medical
- Training certificates such as “Train the Trainer”, “NLP”, and “Instructive Training” are an advantage
- Crew Resources Management Training is an advantage
- Expert in Aircraft systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet and Web Search
- Skilled in written and verbal communication, technical report writing, presentations, etc.
- ELP 5 and above
- Arabic Language is an advantage
- Must pass the technical/psychometric assessment for the Pilots as per Air Arabia/GCAA/CAA standards
- Must pass the Medical Fitness check-up carried for the Pilots as per Air Arabia/GCAA/CAA standards
- 5+ years working as a pilot for a commercial airline
- Experience with a low-cost airline is highly desirable
- Must have completed a minimum of 2 years as a Check Pilot / Instructor Pilot with an Airline delivering training on the Airbus
- Exposure to Civil Aviation Authorities and regulatory bodies, preferably GACA
- Familiar with regulations of GACA, IOSA of Flight Operations and pilots' licensing
- Experienced in designing and catering training courses according to standards and business needs is an advantage
- Capable of monitoring performance against procedures, manuals, standards and regulations
- Possesses effective persuasive, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
