About This Role
Fargo Jet Center is seeking a King Air 350 (BE-300) Captain and Pilot-in-Command based at Fargo/Moorhead's Hector International Airport (KFAR). The role supports the company's Aircraft Management & Charter Department, which operates a growing managed-aircraft and established local charter business focused on business travel, including overnight trips away from base. The operation uses dual-pilot crews under its FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate, and the Captain provides operational leadership, safety oversight, and mentorship to developing Second in Command pilots while conducting Part 91 and Part 135 flights.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain is responsible for the safety, proficiency, professionalism, and customer-focused service of all flight operations.
- Duties include commanding Part 91 and Part 135 operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering customer-focused service, maintaining professional standards, leading collaboratively, and supporting department goals.
- The Captain also provides operational leadership and mentorship to developing Second in Command pilots.
- All flights are conducted with two qualified pilots, and Captains must conduct operations in strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and Federal Regulations while accommodating the needs of aircraft owners and charter clients.

Requirements
- Required qualifications include 1,200 hours total flight time, 500 hours cross-country, 100 hours night, 75 hours actual or simulated instrument time with at least 50 hours actual, and 200 hours turbine time.
- Applicants must hold a Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land certificate with an instrument rating and a First-Class FAA Medical Certificate, and must reside or be willing to reside within two hours of Hector International Airport (KFAR).
- Preferred qualifications are a BE-300 aircraft type rating, King Air flight experience, an Airline Transport Pilot certificate, 2,000 hours total time, and 500 hours multi-engine time with 250 hours turbine time.
- Additional conditions include pre-employment drug screening, a pre-employment background check, random drug screening, and a clean driving record.
- The exempt position may require evenings, weekends, and scheduled company holidays.
- The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, so applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Applicants must also be able to climb, balance, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, and crawl, sit for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
