About This Role
Northeastern Aviation Corp. (NEAJETS), an ARGUS Platinum-rated, IS-BAO-certified aircraft charter and management company with 45 years of experience and headquarters at Republic Airport (KFRG), is hiring an experienced Challenger 605/650 Captain to serve as Pilot-in-Command. The position is based at Teterboro Airport (KTEB) in Teterboro, New Jersey, and applicants must live within a three-hour-by-car call-out distance of the base. The operator stresses a strong safety record, exceptionally maintained aircraft, professionalism, and a good quality of life.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command (Captain) on the company's Challenger 605/650 business jets, flying exceptionally maintained aircraft on NEAJETS' charter and management operations, including domestic and international trips to any country where NEA is authorized to operate.
- The Captain is expected to uphold the company's standards of professionalism, safety, and operational excellence and to remain available for call-out within a three-hour drive of the Teterboro base.

Requirements
- Minimum requirements: 3,500 hours total flight time
- at least 2,000 hours PIC time
- 1,000 hours total turbine-engine time
- a current unrestricted FAA ATP certificate
- a type rating on the Challenger 605/650
- a First Class Medical Certificate
- a valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator's Permit
- a valid passport
- and a valid driver's license. Candidates need excellent communication and leadership skills, fluency in written and spoken English, and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and iPad/electronic tablet tools. Applicants must successfully complete a 10-year background check, a pre-employment drug test, and a criminal history records check (CHRC), be able to freely enter and exit any country worldwide where NEA is authorized to fly, and be legally eligible to work in the United States. The role also requires living within a three-hour call-out distance by car of the Teterboro base.
