About This Role
Solairus Aviation is searching for a Full-Time Challenger 604 Captain to join an operation at the KOPF (Opa Locka, FL) airport, responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft under Solairus' culture of safety, service, and integrity.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for safe operation of the Challenger 604 aircraft. Responsible for conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner including: reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft
- proper pre-flight inspection per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual
- complete check of weather and facilities along the route and airports used including alternates
- ensuring the flight is conducted per Solairus policies and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- ensuring the safety of all passengers, aircraft and crew
- accurate completion of all trip paperwork.
Requirements
- Total time = 3000 hours
- PIC = 1500 hours
- MEL = 1500 hours
- MEL PIC = 500 hours
- Time in Turbo Jet = 500 hours
- Instrument = 250 hours. Type rated on Challenger 604 or comparable aircraft. First class medical required. Must be able to work on an on-call basis. Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually. Primary residence within a 2 hour drive from KOPF or willing to relocate.
