About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a Client Aviation Manager to lead flight operations for a Challenger 350 flight department based at Syracuse Airport (KSYR). The ideal candidate will supervise personnel, coordinate training and maintenance, manage scheduling, and ensure FAA and company compliance. Applicants must have 3000 total hours (1500 PIC, 500 MEL PIC, 500 jet time) plus leadership experience and NBAA CAM certification or equivalent. This position offers a competitive salary range from $50,000-$500,000 annually depending on experience and location, with opportunities to work in a professional, safety-focused business aviation environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 3000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1500 hours PIC
- Minimum 1500 hours multi-engine land (MEL)
- Minimum 500 hours MEL PIC
- Minimum 500 hours turbo jet time
- Minimum 250 hours instrument time
- Valid ATPL license
- First Class Medical Certificate
- Typed on Challenger 350
- NBAA CAM certification or other applicable leadership training (preferred)
- Management background with demonstrated exceptional leadership skills
- Experience in multiple facets of training for flight operations personnel
- Budget development and management experience
- College degree and/or advanced non-flight training
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Track record working in environments implementing best practices in flight operations
- Ability to work on an on-call basis
- Ability to complete ICAO International procedures training annually
- Must be located or willing to relocate within 2 hours of KSYR
