About This Role
Solairus Aviation is hiring a full-time Challenger 300 Captain for a managed business-jet operation based at West Palm Beach (KDJT), Florida. The role centers on the safe, professional operation of the Challenger 300 in service of the assigned client account, working within Solairus's culture of safety, service, and integrity alongside a dedicated crew.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Challenger 300 and for conducting every flight in a safe and prudent manner.
- Duties include reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status, carrying out a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual, and completing a full check of weather and facilities along the route to be flown, at the airports to be used, and at alternate airports.
- The Captain must ensure each flight is conducted in accordance with Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures and the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew, and accurately complete all trip paperwork in line with current procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum flight experience: 3,000 hours total time, 1,500 hours PIC, 1,500 hours multi-engine land (MEL), 500 hours MEL PIC, 500 hours in turbojet aircraft, and 250 hours instrument time.
- Candidates must be type rated on the Challenger 300 or a comparable aircraft and hold a First Class medical certificate.
- The position requires availability on an on-call basis, annual completion of ICAO International procedures training, and a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KDJT (or a willingness to relocate).
