About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Challenger 300 Captain for an operation based at KAPC airport in Napa, California. The Captain will safely and professionally operate the aircraft, support client travel needs, uphold Solairus standards of safety, service, and integrity, and maintain a high standard of teamwork and performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Challenger 300 and for conducting flights safely and prudently in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, and the approved Aircraft Flight Manual. Duties include reviewing aircraft maintenance status
- completing a proper pre-flight inspection
- checking weather, facilities, route information, destination airports, and alternates
- ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew
- and accurately completing all trip paperwork under current procedures.
Requirements
- Applicants must have 3,000 hours total flight time, 1,500 hours PIC, 1,500 hours MEL, 500 hours MEL PIC, 500 hours turbojet time, and 250 hours instrument time.
- Candidates must be type rated on the Challenger 300 or a comparable aircraft and hold a first-class medical.
- The role requires availability to work on an on-call basis, completion of annual ICAO international procedures training, and a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KAPC or a willingness to relocate.
