CAE Canada seeks a CF-18 Operational Specialist (Pilot) to provide technical and flight expertise for software development, testing, and courseware production supporting the CF-18 Operational Community. Requires Royal Canadian Air Force pilot experience as a fighter pilot SME. Based in Mirabel, Quebec with flexible work arrangements and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Royal Canadian Air Force Pilot or equivalent (Fast Jet) background
- Technical experience as a fighter pilot (Subject Matter Expert)
- Strong computer aptitude and willingness to learn new software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Functional French ability (asset)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Controlled Goods Clearance
- Ability to maintain Level II NATO Secret clearance
- Legally permitted to work in Canada (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid Work Permit)
- Willingness to work onsite in Mirabel, Quebec
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent (preferred)
- Aircrew instructor qualification - AIMB (preferred)
- Tactical Aviation experience (preferred)
- Professional testing experience (preferred)
- CF-18 instructor or former CF-18 pilot experience (ideal)
