About This Role
UND Aerospace is seeking Certified Flight Instructors to provide flight training to students. The position emphasizes safety, standard operating procedures, and customer service. Flight Instructors gain valuable experience with opportunities for advancement. Instructors average over 100 billable hours monthly with potential to work more. UND operates with a team-based management culture.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide quality flight instruction to students using structured Part 141 curricula
- Utilize on-line teaching aids, podcasts, and course and maneuver guidance manuals
- Adhere to aircraft standardization manuals for procedures and maneuvers
- Utilize the Aviation Information Management System (AIMS) for managing aircraft, students, flight instructors, and records
- Maintain accurate flight records and ensure TSA requirements are met
- Work with Safety and Standards departments to ensure safety and standard operating procedures

Requirements
- Hold/actively working on a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation
- Commercial Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating - Airplane
- Flight Instructor Certificate - Airplane
- Valid Class 1, 2, 3 FAA Medical Certificate
- Eligible to work within the U.S.
- Experience as a student or flight instructor in a Part 141 training program
- Flight Instructor - Instrument Airplane (Preferred)
- G1000 experience (Preferred)
