About This Role
The Flight School at Colorado Springs (KFLY) is hiring multiple CFIIs. Recently-certificated, low-time CFIIs earn $22/hr as W2 employees, paid for all time worked (not just flight/instructional time). Merit raises are scheduled & automatic; higher-time CFIIs earn more. Instructors can expect to fly 80-100 hours/month and be paid up to and beyond 40 hours/week. Experience flying in or near mountains preferred, but all are welcome to apply. Fleet includes PIATs, Aeroprakt A22s, Cessna 150s, 172s, Mooney M20C and more; a multi-engine program is starting summer 2026.
