About This Role
SkyShare, a Part 135 private jet operator based in Salt Lake City, Utah, is hiring a Citation CE-525 (CJ) Captain. The pilot flies managed aircraft for clients, delivering a high level of service and safety. Compensation is $140,000-$160,000/year plus up to a $20K sign-on bonus or a GV type rating.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, checklists, and best practices.
- Perform duties of up to 14 hours per day during trips for as many as 8 consecutive days, often crossing multiple time zones and navigating drastically different weather conditions.
- Work a flexible rotation schedule that includes days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays, including overnight trips away from home in hotels.
Requirements
- Must have recent single-pilot jet experience. Minimum 2800 hours total flight time, including: 250 hours as PIC, 500 hours of multi, 300 hours of jet, 200 hours of instrument. FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate category and class. Valid FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate. FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit. FAA Instrument Rating. Valid U.S. passport and driver's license. Current IFR knowledge and experience. Garmin 1000/3000 preferred. Prior Part 135 experience preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Must reside within 1 hour of the SLC Airport or commit to relocating within two months of hire
