Chief Pilot position for Cessna Caravan operations at flyExclusive in Miami. Responsible for directing flight department operations, conducting pilot training, maintaining proficiency records, and ensuring FAA compliance. Requires minimum 3 years PIC experience in Part 135 operations and 500+ turbine PIC hours.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years previous experience as pilot-in-command in Part 135 operations within the 6 years preceding position
- Minimum 2,500 hours total flight time
- At least 500 hours of turbine PIC time in Part 135 environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating Cessna Caravan C208 with both land and seaplane experience
- Free of any documented flight violations, mishaps or incidents in the past 10 years
- Current FAA Medical Certificate (1st class)
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating
- ATP preferred
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States
- Must provide two forms of Federal Identification
- Must successfully complete comprehensive background check
- Conducts indoctrination and refresher training for pilots
- Reviews pilot performance reports
- Studies technical manuals and regulations
- Maintains proficiency as Pilot-in-Command
- Establishes and leads operational best practices and safety review panel
- Schedules flight crewmembers and assigns PIC duties
- Maintains pilot files, flight schedules, and duty time records
- Ensures all flight crew personnel are certified and supervised per FAR requirements
- Conducts audits of pilot training and duty records
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be local to Miami, Florida
- Bachelor's degree in aviation or equivalent industry experience preferred
- Experience as check airman preferred or significant seaplane flight instructor time
