VHR is recruiting an experienced Airline Captain for EMB 190 operations based in London. Requires current Captain experience, 4000 total hours with 1500 PIC on multi-crew jet/turboprop, and valid UK CAA ATPL(A). Permanent position with competitive salary of £105,000-£120,000.
Requirements
- Currently operating as a Captain on a commercial aircraft
- UK CAA Part-FCL ATPL (A) license, or eligible to convert via CAA EASA transfer process
- Current type rating on commercial jet or multi-crew turboprop aircraft
- EMB 190 type rating ideally required
- Minimum 4,000 total flight hours
- Minimum 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
- PIC hours must be on multi-crew jet or turboprop aircraft
- Aircraft MTOW ≥ 20,000 kg
- PICUS time will not be accepted toward PIC requirements
- Valid UK-issued ATPL (A)
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 6
- Valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
- Valid UK Class 1 Medical Certificate with minimum 6 months validity at joining
- Strong command presence and decision-making skills
- Commitment to safety, professionalism, and SOP compliance
- Ability to operate effectively in multi-crew airline environment
