About This Role
Keewatin Air, a leader in aeromedical services across Northern Canada, is seeking an experienced PC-24 Captain based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. With over 50 years of experience operating in the Arctic, the company provides 24-hour emergency air ambulance and charter services across remote regions of Canada. The successful candidate will require a valid ATPL, minimum 2500 total flight hours with 500 hours PIC on multi-turbine aircraft, and 100 hours on type. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate PC-24 aircraft safely in accordance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS)
  • Conduct pre-flight familiarization including route, aerodrome, weather, and navigation planning
  • Ensure flight can be made safely and establish alternate plans as required
  • Follow Air Traffic Control, communications, and weather reporting procedures
  • Adhere to checklists for various flight phases and follow Operations Manual limitations
  • Monitor aircraft operation within parameters for patient safety and report deviations in Captain's Trip Report
  • Operate into remote or challenging fields requiring high levels of skill and adaptability
  • Report known or suspected aircraft defects to maintenance and record in Journey Log
  • Complete and submit flight documentation including Journey Log, Flight Manifests, Captain's Trip Report, Load Control forms, and fuel slips
  • Manage dangerous goods procedures and compliance
  • Notify authority of crew location and follow flight procedures
  • Execute duties as detailed in the Safety Management System Manual
  • Make critical decisions regarding flight paths, weather conditions, mechanical integrity, and emergency handling

Requirements
  • Valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot) Certificate
  • Minimum 2500 hours total flight time
  • Minimum 500 hours pilot-in-command on multi-turbine aircraft
  • Minimum 100 hours on PC-24 type
  • Valid Canadian Passport with unrestricted travel ability
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Able to obtain Driving Airside License (D/A)
  • Able to obtain and maintain Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
  • Clear Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Vulnerable Sectors Check
  • Strong knowledge of Transport Canada regulations
  • Fully vaccinated with Canadian-approved COVID-19 vaccination
  • MEDEVAC/Air Ambulance experience considered an asset
  • Indigenous Awareness and/or Cultural Diversity training considered an asset
