About This Role
VistaJet is seeking an experienced Captain to operate a managed Gulfstream G550 based in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This position combines Part 91 and Part 135 operations within Vista America, a leading global business aviation operator. The role requires an ATP-rated pilot with 3,500 total flight hours, 1,500 PIC hours, and specific G550 type rating experience. Requirements
- Valid ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) license
- G550 type rating required
- G550 aircraft experience required
- Minimum 3,500 hours total fixed-wing flight time
- Minimum 1,500 hours PIC time
- Minimum 2,000 hours multi-engine time
- Minimum 300 hours logged IFR
- Minimum 1,000 hours turbine time
- 250 hours PIC time in type (preferred)
- Part 91/135 experience required
- Minimum 150 hours flight time in previous 365 days
- Minimum 30 hours flight time in previous 90 days
- Current First Class Medical Certificate
- No more than 2 checkride failures
- No accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions in last 5 years
- Meets ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 requirements for international commercial air transport
- Authorization to travel to/from all cities/countries served by Vista
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Minimum 21 years of age (implied by ATP requirement)
