About This Role
Air Charter Scotland is seeking an experienced Captain to operate the Embraer Legacy/Praetor EMB-550 in corporate and business aviation operations based in Birmingham, UK. The airline operates worldwide charter services with a focus on European operations, requiring pilots with strong customer service skills and high operational standards. Candidates must have a minimum of 3000 hours total flight time, a valid CPL with IR and ME ratings, and a type rating on the EMB-550. This permanent full-time position offers a fixed 7 days on/5 days off roster pattern, with the opportunity to fly on international charters across Europe and beyond.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Embraer Legacy/Praetor EMB-550 on charter flights
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and safety checks
- Manage crew resource management and safety procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to VIP clients
- Fly primarily within Europe with occasional worldwide operations
- Maintain high operational and safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3000 hours total flight time
- Valid CPL license with IR and ME ratings
- EMB-550 type rating required
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Level 5
- UK CAA or EASA FLC license
- Right to live and work in the UK
- Excellent customer service skills
