About This Role
Northern Jet, a premier private aviation operator with over 25 years of experience, is seeking an experienced Captain to operate Learjet aircraft in a high-utilization Part 91/135 environment. This role is ideal for pilots seeking strong operational exposure and significant flight time accumulation while delivering exceptional white-glove service to discerning travelers. Candidates must possess an ATP certificate, 3,000+ total flight hours, 1,500+ PIC hours, and a Learjet type rating. The position offers a competitive $115,000 base salary with comprehensive benefits, a predictable 8/6 rotation, and company-paid travel, based east of Texas.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Learjet flights under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations
- Ensure full compliance with FAA regulations, duty limits, and company procedures
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of flight execution with crew
- Maintain aircraft safety, readiness, and reporting standards
- Deliver white-glove client experience aligned with Northern Jet standards
- Complete required administrative and operational documentation

Requirements
- ATP Certificate (Unrestricted)
- Learjet type rating preferred
- Minimum 3,000 total flight hours
- Minimum 1,500 PIC hours
- Minimum 50 multi-engine hours
- Current First-Class Medical Certificate
- Clean record: no accidents, incidents, or warnings within past 5 years
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Knowledge of domestic and international operations (Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, Europe)
- Ability to pass drug screening and background check
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must reside east of Texas
