About This Role
Northern Jet, a private aviation company operating a fleet of 40+ jets with an ARGUS Platinum safety rating, seeks an experienced Pilot-in-Command (Captain) on the Learjet LR-45. The role flies a mix of Part 135 and Part 91 on-demand operations (~450+ hours annually) on a home-based, 8-days-on / 6-days-off schedule, with a base salary of $156,250 and total first-year compensation over $175,000.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate flights under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations
- ensure full compliance with FAA regulations, duty limits, and company procedures
- lead and coordinate all aspects of flight execution with the crew
- maintain aircraft safety, readiness, and reporting standards
- deliver a white-glove client experience aligned with Northern Jet standards
- complete required administrative and operational documentation.
Requirements
- PIC Minimum Qualifications: 3,000 Total Time
- 1,500 PIC Time
- 500+ hours of Multi-Engine Time
- Current 1st Class Medical
- Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot License. Other Requirements: No accidents, incidents, or warnings within the past five years
- thorough knowledge of corporate aviation and international procedures, including operations in Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean
- valid driver's license and clean driving record
- pass drug screening and background check.
