About This Role
Pilot in Command / Captain on the Learjet 40XR for Thrive Aviation, a Part 135 corporate charter operator. Responsible for safe and efficient ground and in-flight operations of the aircraft, and for mentoring First Officers. Reports administratively to the Chief Pilot.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Administratively responsible to the Chief Pilot.
- Primarily responsible for safe and efficient ground and in-flight operation of the aircraft.
- Check identification of all passengers before they board the aircraft.
- Ensure pre-flight check list is thoroughly completed.
- Train and mentor First Officers on assigned flights and aircraft.
- Anticipate customers' needs and strive to exceed their expectations.
- Comply with FAA regulations, Thrive's GOM, Operational Specifications, and adhere to department operating procedures.
- Maintain communications and coordination with assigned crew, dispatch, maintenance, and administration.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: 3,000 hours of Fixed Wing Total Time
- 1,500 hours of PIC Total Time
- 500 hours of Total Turbine Time
- Valid US Passport (must not be expired)
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- FCC Radio License
- Current, valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Eligible to fly internationally into any country or jurisdiction without restrictions
- Must reside in, or within two hours of a major airport
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Corporate Aviation/Part 135 Charter
- Current type rating for aircraft within our fleet.
