About This Role
PAL Aerospace is seeking experienced Captains to operate King Air 350 air ambulance aircraft based in St. John's and Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The company, headquartered in Atlantic Canada with over 50 years of special missions excellence, was selected in October 2024 to design, manage, and operate integrated ambulance services for the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Candidates must have a minimum of 2000 total flight hours with 500 hours of multi-engine PIC experience, along with valid Transport Canada CPL, ATPL, Instrument Rating, and Class 1 Medical. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate King Air 350 aircraft on air ambulance missions
  • Lead and manage flight crew
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections and safety checks
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures
  • Manage critical patient transport missions where minutes can mean life or death

Requirements
  • Minimum 2000 hours total flight time
  • Minimum 500 hours multi-engine PIC
  • Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
  • Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating
  • Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Valid ATPL
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
  • Valid passport
  • Able to travel without restrictions to the United States
  • High school diploma
  • Transport Canada English proficiency standard
  • Flexibility to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
