About This Role
Vista America is seeking a home-based Gulfstream G-IV/G450 Captain to deliver luxury passenger service within its U.S. business aviation operation. The position offers a stable 15/13 schedule planned 12 months in advance, advance training planning, fleet progression opportunities, and support from flight operations leadership and the operational control center.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As a Vista America Captain, the pilot is expected to be an experienced problem solver, brand ambassador, and dependable team member who provides iconic luxury service to passengers.
- The role reports to the Flight Operations Manager and includes operating within a global team supported by pilot leadership, fleet chiefs, flight operations management, and the Operational Control Center.
- Vista America also describes opportunities to progress to larger aircraft and leadership roles while retaining seniority within one entity.
What We Offer
The package includes Year 1 guaranteed base pay of $210,000, total compensation potential of $262,825, extra-day pay, total-flight-hour incentives, paid training days, and retention bonuses after 3, 6, and 9 years.Benefits also include $75/$120 daily per diem for domestic/international travel, a choice of vacation time in addition to the 15/13 schedule or a $10,000 in-lieu vacation bonus, home basing, advance schedule and training planning, fleet progression, 24/7/365 access to pilot leadership and flight operations management, operational control center support, a safety management system and Just Culture program, fatigue management, mobile maintenance response teams, aircraft refurbishment support, hotel and travel points, positive-space seats, travel on the first and last day of schedule, premium health, dental, and vision programs, a company phone, credit card and uniform, and a 401K program with company matching and no vesting period.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold an ATP and meet the G-IV/G450 minimums of 4,000 hours fixed-wing time, 3,000 hours PIC, 2,000 hours multi-engine time, and 1,000 hours turbine time.
- A Gulfstream type rating is preferred.
- Candidates must hold a current First Class Medical Certificate, have no accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions in the last five years, meet ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 requirements for aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot, be authorized to work in the United States, be authorized to travel to and from all cities and countries served, and have logged 150 hours in the previous 365 days and 30 hours in the previous 90 days.
