About This Role
Jet Aviation is seeking a Gulfstream IV-SP Captain based in Dallas to command assigned domestic and worldwide flights in a private aviation environment. The Captain has full responsibility for safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations, leads the professional crew, manages changing operational conditions, and delivers a discreet, high-quality experience for clients. The role also represents Jet Aviation as a trusted brand ambassador while supporting safety, security, documentation, and operational excellence across varied flight missions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Take command of all assigned flights and make critical decisions that ensure compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Maintain complete working knowledge of the aircraft systems, operate the aircraft precisely, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions to provide a safe and seamless travel experience.
- Perform the TSA In-Flight Security Coordinator functions under the applicable Twelve-Five Standard Security Program or Private Charter Standard Security Program.
- Conduct required passenger safety briefings or assign them to the second in command, support open communication about safety issues, report hazards, and maintain a secure operating environment.
- Record and report aircraft discrepancies as they occur.
- Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork in accordance with company procedures.
- Represent Jet Aviation professionally as the face of the brand, delivering exceptional service to customers and colleagues.
- The position also requires frequent travel, work in settings ranging from heavy maintenance areas to upscale customer spaces, and adaptation to noise, vibration, fuel fumes, changing weather, and seasonal temperature extremes.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical, together with at least 3,500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time.
- The required experience includes 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours of multi-engine time, 500 hours of turbo-jet time, 500 hours of turbine time, 100 hours of night flight, and 75 hours of simulated instrument time.
- Candidates must be able to work a variable schedule, travel extensively worldwide without restrictions, hold a high school diploma, and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Jet Aviation is seeking pilots with strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills, attention to detail, aviation-industry knowledge, a friendly and professional client-service manner, sound judgment, resourcefulness, integrity, discretion, and a quality-driven approach.
- A college degree is preferred, as are an appropriate aircraft type rating and currency.
