About This Role
Jet Aviation is seeking a Gulfstream 500 Captain based in Middletown, Pennsylvania, in the Harrisburg area, to command private-aviation missions on domestic and international routes. The Captain has full responsibility for safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations, leads a professional crew, manages changing conditions and flight plans, and delivers discreet, high-end service to clients. The role also includes security coordination, passenger safety, aircraft discrepancy reporting, trip documentation, and representing Jet Aviation's values and brand worldwide.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Command all assigned flights and make critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Maintain complete working knowledge of aircraft systems, operate the aircraft precisely, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions to provide a seamless travel experience.
- Perform the TSA Flight Security Coordinator functions under the applicable Twelve-Five standard security program or private charter standard security program, conduct required passenger safety briefings or delegate them to the second in command, support open communication about safety issues, report hazards, and maintain a secure operating environment.
- Record and report aircraft discrepancies as they occur.
- Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork in accordance with company procedures.
- Represent Jet Aviation as a professional brand ambassador while delivering exceptional service to clients and colleagues.

Requirements
- Required qualifications include an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, FAA First Class Medical, 3,500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time, 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours of multi-engine time, 500 hours of turbojet time, 500 hours of turbine time, 100 hours of night time, and 75 hours of simulated instrument time.
- The candidate must be able to work a variable schedule, travel extensively worldwide without restrictions, hold a high school diploma, and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
