About This Role
Solairus Aviation, a leading business aviation operator, is seeking an experienced Captain for their Global 8000 fleet based in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a permanent, on-call position requiring extensive command experience and type rating on Global aircraft or comparable business jets. Candidates must have a minimum of 3000 total flight hours with 1500 hours PIC and 500 hours jet time, holding a valid FAA ATPL with Class 1 Medical. The position requires primary residence within a 2-hour drive of Nashville (BNA) or willingness to relocate, with no visa sponsorship available.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Global 8000 aircraft on charter and on-demand flights
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory procedures
- Manage crew resource management and flight operations
- Complete required flight reports and documentation
- Respond to on-call scheduling requirements
Requirements
- Valid FAA ATPL license
- Minimum 3000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1500 hours PIC time
- Minimum 500 hours multi-engine PIC
- Minimum 1500 hours multi-engine
- Minimum 500 hours jet time
- Minimum 250 hours instrument flight time
- Type rating on Global aircraft or comparable aircraft required
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Ability to work on an on-call basis
- Ability to complete ICAO International procedures training annually
- Primary residence within 2-hour drive from Nashville (BNA) or willing to relocate
- Must have right to work in the United States
