About This Role
ExecuJet Middle East (Luxaviation group) is seeking a Captain - Global 8000 for its Flight Operations division, based out of Dubai, UAE. The position is rostered with leave allocation and involves operating business-aviation flights, including in conflict-affected and high-risk airspace environments.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Liaise with passengers or aircraft owner when defects or operational issues affect the schedule
- be responsible for the aircraft IAW EJME OM including Operations, FDP and Safety
- ensure the aircraft is operated IAW EJME POM and SOPs
- be familiar with EJME OM, company OIs/CMs and applicable Civil Aviation regulations
- be responsible for all decisions made on board
- ensure aircraft paperwork and airworthiness before departure
- create a safe and professional on-board environment with good CRM
- ensure passenger travel documents are correct
- brief passengers on the flight
- ensure crew are presentable
- report abnormalities, events, incidents or accidents via correct channels
- ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
Requirements
- ATPL with current Type Rating. Work Experience: 4,000 hours total time (minimum)
- 2,000 hours jet time
- 2,000 hours multi-engine time
- experience operating flights in conflict-affected and high-risk airspace environments. Background: Corporate/Business Aviation required. Languages: fluency in written and spoken English (additional languages advantageous). IT skills: basic Microsoft Office.
