About This Role
Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced Captain to command a Global 8000 business jet in an elite private aviation environment based in Gypsum, Colorado. The Captain holds ultimate responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, leads a professional crew across domestic and global routes, adapts quickly to changing conditions, and upholds the highest standards of safety, service, and professionalism while delivering an exceptional experience to discerning clientele and representing the Jet Aviation brand.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Take command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions to guarantee a seamless travel experience.
- Perform the functions of the TSA In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the twelve-five standard security program or private charter standard security program as applicable, and conduct required passenger safety briefings (or assign that duty to the second in command).
- Support open communication on safety issues, report hazards, and record and report all aircraft discrepancies as they occur.
- Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork according to company procedures, while representing Jet Aviation as a professional brand ambassador.

Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and an FAA First Class Medical
- 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as pilot-in-command, 1,500 hours multi-engine, 500 hours turbo-jet, 500 hours turbine, 100 hours night, and 75 hours simulated instrument
- ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles
- willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions
- a high school diploma
- and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Setting candidates apart (preferred): an appropriate aircraft type rating and currency, a college degree, strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, resourceful approach to problem-solving handled with integrity and discretion.
