About This Role
Flexjet Europe is seeking an experienced G650 Captain for UK and EU-based operations to perform pilot-in-command duties and manage daily aircraft operations. The company is a leading business aviation operator specializing in charter and on-demand flights across Europe. Candidates must have a minimum of 3,500 total flight hours with 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command, along with a valid EASA or UK ATPL and Class 1 Medical Certificate. This position offers the opportunity to join a professional flight operations team with exposure to corporate and commercial air transport operations across multiple European destinations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform all Captain/PIC duties on the G650
- Direct the activities of other crew members
- Ensure all crew members understand their assigned duties
- Manage daily operational functions of the aircraft
- Provide safe flight for passengers during scheduled rotation
- Maintain final authority for safe aircraft operation
- Ensure assigned aircraft is airworthy with proper documentation onboard
- Report known or suspected violations or incidents to Fleet Manager
- Maintain current medical certificate and notify Fleet Manager of any impairments
- Report and document all maintenance discrepancies to maintenance team
- Maintain contact with Operations and relevant departments during flights
- Ensure operational messages are conveyed between Flight Crew and Operations
- Maintain high degree of crew coordination in professional manner
- Accept responsibility to Fleet Manager for duty assignments and training
- Greet passengers and assist with seating and luggage storage
- Conduct passenger briefings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid EASA ATPL and/or Valid UK ATPL
- 3,500 hours total flight time
- 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command time
- 500 hours Multi-Engine Land time (1,000 preferred)
- 500 hours Multi-Engine Turbine time (1,000 preferred)
- 500 hours Actual Instrument time
- Valid Multi-Crew Rating on EASA license
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Valid EU Passport
- English Language Proficiency minimum level 5
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- G650 Type Rating desired but not required
- Legal right to work in Europe and/or the UK
- Ability to travel to all cities/countries where Flexjet operates
- Ability to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays and overnight trips
- Thorough knowledge of EASA and UK flight operations regulations
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Computer/tablet proficiency for word processing, email and web-based applications
- Professional appearance and attention to detail
