Abbott Aviation is seeking a Domestic Captain for Gulfstream G550/G650 aircraft based in Waukegan, IL. Requires minimum 3000 total hours with 1500 PIC hours and 500 jet hours. Preference given to candidates type-rated on both G550 and G650.
Requirements
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) – Airplane Multiengine Land Certificate
- PIC qualified and current on either G550 or G650 aircraft (both preferred)
- Minimum 3000 hours total flight time (5000 hours recommended)
- Minimum 1500 hours Pilot in Command (2500 hours recommended)
- Minimum 1500 hours Multi Engine Land (MEL)
- Minimum 500 hours jet time (500 hours jet PIC time recommended)
- Minimum 100 hours jet time in type (left seat)
- Valid FAA Class I Medical Certificate
- FAA violation-free history
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid U.S. driver's license with clean driving record
- Current U.S. passport
- Ability to pass FAA Pilot Records Database review
- Ability to pass reference screening and comprehensive background check
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug/alcohol testing
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Ability to lift 70 pounds
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to work around aircraft operations with exposure to noise, vibrations, fuel fumes, and hydraulic fluids
- Willingness to obtain vaccinations required for international travel
- Ability to respond to short notice trips and be airborne within 3 hours
- Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions
- Must live within 2-hour drive to Waukegan Airport (KUGN) or be willing to relocate
