About This Role
Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation seeks an experienced Captain to join their Flight Operations team based in Savannah, Georgia. This role involves operating various Gulfstream aircraft in support of airborne customer support, corporate transportation, demonstration flights, and maintenance operations both domestically and internationally. Candidates must have a minimum of 1500 hours total flight time (or 1000 PIC hours on turbine aircraft), 5 years of professional pilot experience, and a valid ATPL license. Gulfstream type rating is preferred, and the position offers full-time employment with up to 50% travel and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge business jet technology.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Gulfstream aircraft in support of Airborne Customer Support (ACS), corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration, Gulfstream maintenance, and production test flights
- Operate aircraft domestically and internationally (when qualified) in accordance with Gulfstream Flight Operations FOM/SOP
- Possess broad knowledge and understanding of flight operations
- Communicate with Gulfstream personnel to facilitate effective support of Gulfstream and customers
- Manage and execute assigned ancillary responsibilities
- Adhere to Gulfstream corporate policies and Flight Operations Manual (FOM) procedures
- Coordinate assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations
- Proactively assist Gulfstream Dispatch with planning and coordination of flight activity
- Manage the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight activities
- Serve as a positive brand ambassador for Gulfstream and General Dynamics
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years flight experience as a professional pilot in aviation industry
- 1500 hours total flight time OR 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command of turbine powered aircraft
- ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) Upon Hire required
- 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate Upon Hire required
- Gulfstream type rating preferred
- Corporate Aviation experience preferred
- International experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
