About This Role
Jet Aviation, a global business-aviation company operating since 1967 (aircraft management, charter, completions, FBO, and maintenance across roughly 50 locations worldwide), is hiring a Captain to command a Dassault Falcon 7X based at Teterboro, New Jersey on a commutable basis. The Captain carries full command responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft on domestic and global missions, leads the professional crew, makes sound decisions under pressure, and delivers a discreet, high-end experience for private clientele while representing the Jet Aviation brand.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Take command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local and company regulations.
- Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems, manage flight plans and adapt to changing conditions to guarantee a seamless travel experience.
- Perform the functions of the TSA In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the Twelve-Five Standard Security Program or Private Charter Standard Security Program as applicable, conduct the required passenger safety briefings or assign that duty to the second in command, support open communication on safety issues, report hazards, and record and report all aircraft discrepancies.
- Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals and complete accurate trip paperwork according to company procedures, and act as a brand ambassador delivering exceptional service.

Anticipated annual salary of $250,000 to $280,000 (not a guaranteed offerfinal salary depends on experience, geographic location and other factors). Requirements
- An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate and an FAA First Class Medical are required.
- Candidates must have 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours multi-engine, 500 hours turbo-jet, 500 hours turbine, 100 hours night and 75 hours simulated instrument.
- A high school diploma and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record are required, and applicants must be able to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles and be willing to travel worldwide with no restrictions.
