About This Role
Jet Aviation is seeking a Falcon 7X Captain to command Dassault Falcon 7X operations for its flight operations team. The Captain will be responsible for the safety of crew members, passengers, and cargo; compliance with company procedures, the Operations Manual, aviation regulations, and industry best practices; effective crew coordination; accurate aircraft handling and flight documentation; and consistently high standards of professionalism, service, and operational integrity. The role reports to the Director of Flight Operations and requires substantial Falcon 7X experience, international operating experience, and strong knowledge of aircraft systems and safety standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain assumes full responsibility for the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard. Duties include conducting flights in accordance with company procedures, the Operations Manual, applicable aviation regulations, and industry best practices
- ensuring crew members are correctly positioned during critical phases of flight
- protecting flight data and cockpit voice recorder information
- coordinating flight crew duties to promote teamwork, situational awareness, and sound airmanship
- maintaining accurate navigation and compliance with minimum altitudes and operational limitations
- operating and handling Falcon 7X systems in accordance with the Aircraft Flight Manual and company procedures
- enforcing standard operating procedures and checklist discipline
- monitoring fuel requirements and reserves
- coordinating with cabin crew on passenger safety and service requirements
- completing accurate flight and technical logs
- submitting incident, accident, and operational occurrence reports
- maintaining current knowledge of regulations, company procedures, and operational practices
- representing Jet Aviation with professional conduct and appearance
- and ensuring passengers receive appropriate safety briefings and understand emergency procedures and equipment.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) and a current Dassault Falcon 7X type rating.
- The posting requires a minimum of 5,000 total flight hours and at least 500 hours of Pilot-in-Command experience on type.
- FAA-, EASA-, or UK-issued pilot licences are accepted.
- Candidates should have strong knowledge of Falcon 7X aircraft systems, aviation regulations, and operational safety standards, together with excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proven experience operating international flights in varied operational environments is required, as is a strong commitment to safety, service excellence, and operational integrity.
- A current Class 1 Medical Certificate is also required.
