About This Role
Contour Aviation seeks an experienced Captain for their Embraer Legacy 600 jet based in Smyrna, TN. The position requires extensive pilot-in-command experience and a commitment to safety and professional excellence in Part 135 on-demand operations.
Requirements
- Valid U.S. Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with PIC Type rating for Embraer Legacy 600
- Current First-Class Medical Certificate
- 3000 total pilot-in-command hours minimum
- 1500 pilot-in-command hours minimum
- 250 pilot-in-command hours in type minimum
- Current and proficient in type
- Valid current passport
- English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE)
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to travel in and out of country without restrictions
- Fluent in English (Spanish proficiency a plus)
- Pass DOT pre-employment drug screening
- Pass FAA and Company-mandated random drug and alcohol testing
- Pass 10-year work history background check
- Pass criminal history and fingerprint checks (TSA required)
- Comply with ICAO age restrictions for international travel
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
- Ability to lift 75 lbs routinely
- No excessive check ride failures
- No previous aviation-related accidents or incidents
