About This Role
PAL Airlines, one of Atlantic Canada's largest carriers, is seeking Direct Entry Captains and First Officers to join their award-winning team flying Dash 8 turboprops across 27 Canadian destinations and charter routes throughout North America. The airline operates from three crew bases (St. John's, Halifax, and Montreal) and is known for flying in diverse environments from remote locations to major cities. Candidates must hold a valid Transport Canada ATPL and meet specific experience requirements, including multi-engine turbine time and Canadian crew experience. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Dash 8 turboprops on scheduled routes to 27 Canadian destinations
- Conduct charter operations throughout Canada and Eastern North America
- Maintain safety and customer service standards
- Perform pre-flight inspections and crew briefings

Requirements
- Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot's License
- Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating
- Valid Transport Canada Multi-Engine Rating
- Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License)
- SAMRA & SARON OR IATRA written exam passed within past two years
- Able to obtain and maintain Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- Current passport at time of hire
- Able to travel without restrictions to the United States
- Able to obtain and maintain C-1/D transit/crewmember visa
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- High school diploma completed
- Transport Canada English proficiency standard level 4
- Direct Entry Captain requires ATPL
- Preference given to Canadian ATPL holders
- Preference given to candidates with two-crew multi-engine turbine experience
