AAR Corp seeks experienced DHC-8 Pilots in Command for worldwide expeditionary aviation support with the US Department of State Air Wing. Requires 1500 total hours, 500 turbine time, and 300 PIC hours with Secret security clearance. Position involves 180+ days annual TDY to remote and austere environments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1500 total fixed wing flight hours
- Minimum 500 hours turbine engine time
- Minimum 300 hours multi-engine pilot-in-command (PIC) time
- FAA Commercial and Instrument Airman's Certificate (Airplane, MEL)
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- DHC-8 type rating
- DHC-8 Readiness Level (RL) training completion within 90 days
- Secret security clearance required
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
- Previous military fixed wing flight training or civilian equivalent
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 180+ days annually
- Variable monthly schedule
- Spanish Level L-2, R-2 required for LATAM programs
- Valid U.S. citizenship or work authorization
- OCONUS - Host Nation equivalent certifications in lieu of FAA certifications
