- Minimum 2500 hours PIC in type
- Minimum 4000 hours on DHC-6 aircraft on floats
- 2500 hours of Command experience on DHC-6 aircraft on floats
- DHC-6 type rating required
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
