About This Role
Clyde Companies, a corporate aviation operator based in Provo, Utah, is seeking an experienced Captain for their Bombardier Challenger CL-30 fleet. This is a permanent position requiring significant command experience and jet operations background. Candidates must have a minimum of 2000 total flight hours with 1000 hours of PIC time and 500 hours of jet experience, along with a valid FAA ATPL and Class 1 Medical Certificate. The role offers the opportunity to operate a modern twin-engine business jet with sophisticated avionics and flight management systems for a well-established corporate aviation provider.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Bombardier Challenger CL-30 on Part 91, 121, or 135 missions
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Manage flight operations and crew resource management
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
- Maintain flight logs and complete required documentation
Requirements
- Valid FAA ATPL license
- Minimum 2000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1000 hours PIC time
- Minimum 500 hours jet time
- Bombardier Challenger CL-30 type rating required
- Experience as captain with FAR Part 91, 121, or 135 operations
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Automated cockpit electronic flight instrument system (EFIS) experience
- Flight management system (FMS) experience
- No aircraft accidents or incidents within preceding 5 years
- No past or pending FAA violations within preceding 5 years
- Able to possess a valid passport
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
