About This Role
Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced Captain for Challenger 604 operations based in Ewing Township, New Jersey. The Captain will assume full responsibility for the safe, efficient, compliant, and professional operation of assigned flights in a private aviation environment, leading the crew across domestic and worldwide routes while delivering discreet, high-quality service to clients. The role combines command authority, flight planning, safety leadership, administrative accuracy, customer representation, and extensive global travel.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain will take command of assigned flights and make critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems
- operating the aircraft precisely
- managing flight plans
- adapting to changing weather and operational conditions
- and ensuring a seamless travel experience. The Captain will perform the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator function under the applicable twelve five standard security program or private charter standard security program, conduct required passenger safety briefings or assign them to the second in command, support open communication on safety concerns, report hazards, and maintain a secure operating environment. The role also requires recording and reporting aircraft discrepancies, managing trip documentation, maintaining aircraft manuals, completing accurate trip paperwork, representing Jet Aviation professionally, and serving as a brand ambassador for the company's standards of trust, honesty, alignment, transparency, safety, service, and quality.

Requirements
- Required qualifications include an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, FAA First Class Medical, 3,500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time, 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours of multi-engine time, 500 hours of Turbo-Jet time, 500 hours of turbine time, 100 hours of night flight, and 75 hours of simulated instrument time.
- Candidates must be able to work a variable schedule, travel extensively worldwide without restrictions, hold a high school diploma, and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills are expected, together with attention to detail, aviation-industry knowledge, a professional and pleasant demeanor, resourcefulness, integrity, discretion, and a quality-driven approach.
- A college degree is preferred.
- An appropriate Challenger 604 aircraft type rating and currency are additional credentials that will set candidates apart.
