About This Role
Captain role at Jet Aviation flying a Challenger 350 in a private/corporate aviation environment out of Chicago, IL. The Captain takes full command responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft on domestic and global routes, leads the crew, acts as TSA Flight Security Coordinator, and represents the Jet Aviation brand to clientele. Anticipated salary range $230,000 to $240,000.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Take command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations. Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions. Perform the functions of the TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the twelve five standard security program or private charter standard security program
- conduct or assign required passenger safety briefings. Record and report all aircraft discrepancies. Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork according to company procedures. Represent the Jet Aviation brand.
Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical required. Proven Experience: 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night and 75 hours Simulated Instrument. Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles. Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions. High school diploma required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred/setting apart: College degree preferred
- appropriate aircraft type rating and currency.
