About This Role
Mountain Air Cargo is seeking a Floater Captain for Cessna 208 Caravan operations based in Charlotte, NC. MAC is a FedEx feeder cargo carrier operating over 50 aircraft (ATR 42/72, C408 Skycourier, and Cessna 208 Caravan) with approximately 100 flights per day under FAA Parts 121 and 135. Floater Captains will travel on weekly work assignments from their home airport. Candidates must hold a Commercial Single Engine Land certificate with 1200 total flight hours including 500 PIC hours. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Cessna 208 Caravan on cargo flights
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and safety checks
- Manage IFR operations and navigation
- Complete flight logs and required documentation
- Travel to weekly work assignments from home base

Requirements
- Commercial Single Engine Land certificate
- Minimum 1200 hours total flight time
- 500 hours PIC
- 500 hours cross-country
- 100 hours night flying
- 75 hours instrument time (50 hours in actual flight)
- Valid 2nd Class Medical Certificate (1st Class required for International and some Florida bases)
- IFR proficiency and currency
- Willing to travel on weekly work assignments
