Guardian Flight is seeking a Fixed Wing Pilot (Captain - Cessna 208 Caravan) to provide medical air transportation services in Dillingham, Alaska. Requires 2,500 total hours, 1,000 PIC hours, and Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land certificate. Requirements
- Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land (C-AMEL) certificate required
- Must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment
- Minimum 2,500 total flight hours
- Minimum 2,000 fixed wing hours
- Minimum 1,000 PIC hours
- Minimum 500 cross country hours
- Minimum 100 night hours
- Minimum 75 instrument hours (50 actual)
- Single pilot IFR experience ideal
- Current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate
- Valid and unexpired driver's license
- Ability to provide logbooks substantiating all reported flight time
- Previous medevac and/or cargo experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in aviation preferred (high school diploma/GED acceptable)
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, balance, sit, crouch, kneel, or crawl unassisted for extended periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 150 pounds cumulative with assistance
- Required to work in outside weather conditions
- Must be able to work night, day, and overnight shifts as assigned
- May need to de-ice the plane, assist with towing, and hangar maneuvering
- Close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
