About This Role
Empire Airlines seeks an experienced Cessna 208 Caravan Captain for Part-135 operations based in Seattle-Tacoma, Washington. This role involves conducting safe, efficient, and compliant flight services in a single-engine turboprop aircraft, with responsibilities including pre-flight planning, in-flight command decision-making, crew supervision, and regulatory compliance. Candidates must hold a Commercial Pilot License with 1200 total hours, 800 PIC hours, and current IFR proficiency. Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely maneuver aircraft during all phases of flight
- Monitor flight conditions including weather and cargo safety
- Verify go/no-go decisions and fuel requirements
- Make alternate destination decisions when needed
- Maintain command and ensure proper communication with stations, towers, flight controllers, and dispatchers
- File FAA-required reports and report unusual aircraft behavior to dispatch or maintenance
- Record flight hours in accordance with FAA rest requirements and company directives
- Supervise personnel related to the flight
- Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations, procedures, and company policies
- Serve as a positive, constructive leader and role model for ethical behavior
- Review company bulletins and correspondence daily
- Submit transmittals, expense reports, and company documents accurately and timely

Requirements
- Commercial Pilot License with Single-Engine Land (SEL) and IFR ratings
- Minimum 1200 hours total flight time
- Minimum 800 hours PIC
- Minimum 500 hours cross-country
- Minimum 100 hours night flying
- Minimum 75 hours IFR (50 hours actual)
- IFR current and proficient
- Valid 2nd Class Medical Certificate
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must comply with FAA/DOT Drug and Alcohol Program
- Ability to work in multiple locations
