About This Role
Contour Aviation is hiring a full-time, home-based CRJ200 Captain in Smyrna, Tennessee. The role is responsible for safe aircraft operation, diligent preflight planning, flight-plan preparation, passenger service, aircraft readiness, compliance with company procedures, and leadership in a professional airline environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain must put safety above all other considerations
- comply with schedules and directives governing safe aircraft operation
- perform assigned duties according to company manuals, memoranda, and policies
- conduct diligent preflight planning and prepare flight plans
- provide excellent customer service to passengers
- ensure the aircraft is clean, prepared for flight, and stocked with provisions required for passenger safety and comfort
- wear the company-issued uniform and follow the uniform policy
- and perform other duties assigned by leadership.

Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 23 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, possess a current passport, hold a U.S. ATP license, maintain a current first-class medical, and hold a commercial multi-engine land license with an instrument airplane rating. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, able to travel internationally, and able to understand, read, and write English. The posting requires a 10-year work-history review, criminal-history, reference, and driving-record checks, acceptable check-ride history, DOT pre-employment and FAA/company random drug and alcohol testing, an English Proficiency Endorsement, and no previous aviation-related accidents or incidents. Candidates must demonstrate polished customer-service and interpersonal skills, leadership, organization, communication, attention to detail, self-motivation, teamwork, and the ability to work under stress and tight time constraints. The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules, the ability to lift 75 pounds routinely, and residence allowing reporting within 120 minutes of a dispatch call during assigned duty periods.
