About This Role
One Air is a UK-based cargo operator seeking experienced Boeing 747 Captains to join their expanding fleet at East Midlands Airport. This is an exciting opportunity with a relatively new airline that is rapidly growing and welcoming new pilots and aircraft. Candidates must have a minimum of 5000 total flight hours with 1000 hours PIC on Boeing 747 aircraft and current type rating with recent operating experience. The position offers a competitive salary of £130,000 per annum with a fixed roster pattern (20/10 or 16/8), comprehensive benefits including private healthcare, pension contributions, and generous leave entitlement of 33 days annually.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate B747 cargo aircraft on worldwide routes
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and safety checks
- Ensure compliance with all operational procedures
- Lead crew briefings and coordinate flight operations

Requirements
- Valid UK CAA ATPL license
- Valid UK CAA Class One Medical Certificate
- Valid B747 type rating and instrument rating
- Recency on type (flown B747 in last 12 months)
- Minimum 5000 total flight hours
- Minimum 1000 hours PIC on Boeing aircraft
- Valid unrestricted worldwide travel passport
- Right to live and work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Boeing type-rated or non type-rated Boeing pilot experience
