About This Role
GOL is seeking experienced Captains to operate the Airbus A330 from their Rio de Janeiro base in Brazil. Candidates must have more than 5 years of experience as Captain on the A330, hold a valid Brazilian pilot license (PLA), A330 type rating, Class 1 Medical Certificate, and English proficiency at ICAO Level 4 or higher. Duties & Responsibilities
- Exercise full authority over the aircraft, crew, passengers, and cargo from pre-flight to delivery
- Ensure operational safety, regulatory compliance, and continuity of operations
- Refuse aircraft not in airworthy condition or declare unfit for flight when necessary
- Defer, suspend, or terminate flight when essential for safety
- Evaluate meteorological conditions, NOTAMs, and aerodrome conditions
- Ensure correct fuel quantity and monitor fuel consumption
- Ensure proper weight and balance of the aircraft
- Verify crew licenses and certificates per aviation authority requirements
- Manage crew assignments and ensure compliance with duty time regulations
- Designate Pilot Flying and ensure correct execution of checklists
- Ensure only essential activities are performed during critical flight phases
- Complete or ensure correct completion of flight log and technical aircraft report
- Record incidents requiring mandatory inspection (hard landing, severe turbulence, tail strike, RTO, lightning, limit exceedances)
- Ensure safety instruction transmission to passengers
- Ensure compliance with safety norms in normal, emergency, and evacuation situations
- Represent the airline to passengers, crew, and authorities
- Report unsafe conditions to control authorities and Safety department
- Identify and report operational hazards through official company system
- Maintain integrity and security of the flight deck

Requirements
- High school diploma (University degree is a plus)
- More than 5 years of experience as Captain on A330
- Valid Airline Pilot License (PLA - Licença de Piloto de Linha Aérea)
- Valid A330 Technical Proficiency Certificate (CHT)
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate (CMA)
- Valid Brazilian passport valid for at least 6 months
- Valid US visas (B1, B2, and D categories)
- ICAO English Level 4 or higher
- Knowledge of applicable aeronautical regulations (RBAC 121 and CBA)
- Knowledge of Operational Safety Management System (SGSO)
- Experience in widebody aircraft operations and long-range flights
- Availability to relocate (final work location determined after selection process)
- Knowledge of A330 operational procedures
