About This Role
Airblue, Pakistan's leading airline, is seeking experienced Captain pilots to operate the Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft from its Islamabad hub. The position requires a minimum of 5,000 total flying hours with at least 500 hours as Pilot in Command on the A330. Candidates must hold a valid ATPL with Instrument Rating issued by an ICAO member state, current Class-1 Medical Certificate, and demonstrate recent operational experience on the A330 within the last 12 months. This is a line flying role for one of South Asia's major carriers, offering the opportunity to operate long-haul international routes with a reputable airline.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Airbus A330 on scheduled international routes
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements
- Manage crew resource management and cockpit operations
- Complete required flight reports and documentation
Requirements
- Valid ATPL issued by recognized ICAO member state
- A330 Type Rating endorsed on license
- Minimum 5,000 hours total flying time
- Minimum 500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on Airbus A330
- Valid Class-1 Medical Certificate
- Valid Instrument Rating
- Recent operational experience on A330 within the last 12 months
- No history of accidents or incidents
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Maximum age 58 years
