About This Role
Lufthansa City Airlines, the youngest member of the Lufthansa Group, is seeking experienced First Officers for a fast-track upgrade to Captain on their modern A320 fleet. Based in Munich with expansion to Frankfurt starting spring 2026, the airline operates short- and medium-haul European routes with Lufthansa quality standards. Candidates require a minimum of 4,500 hours total flight time on CS-25 aircraft, a valid EASA ATPL(A), and A320 type rating. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate A320 aircraft safely and efficiently on short- and medium-haul European routes
- Act responsibly and sustainably in all flight operations
- Actively contribute to shaping Lufthansa City Airlines corporate culture and growth
- Lead and manage cabin crew and flight operations as Captain
- Ensure compliance with Lufthansa quality and safety standards

Requirements
- Valid EASA ATPL(A) license
- Valid A320 Type Rating (preferred)
- Minimum 4,500 hours total flight time on CS-25 aircraft
- Valid Class I Medical Certificate
- General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur/Fachhochschulreife or equivalent)
- EU citizenship or unrestricted residence and work permit
- Passport with unlimited validity (if no EU passport, entry restrictions no stricter than EU passport)
- Confident verbal and written English language skills (minimum ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4)
- Strong decision-making skills and team working ability
