About This Role
Etihad Airways is seeking experienced Captain A320 pilots to join their growing fleet based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As the national airline of the UAE, Etihad operates to over 150 destinations worldwide and is undergoing significant expansion with 20+ new aircraft arriving in 2026 and plans to double the fleet by 2030. Candidates require a minimum of 5,500 total flight hours with 2,500 hours PIC on multi-crew glass cockpit aircraft and 1,500 PIC hours specifically on the A320 family. Duties & Responsibilities
- Hold ultimate authority for safe, secure, and efficient operation of A320 flights
- Exercise full command of aircraft from taxi-out to final engine shutdown
- Lead flight and cabin crew with strong decision-making and effective crew resource management
- Ensure safety and security of crew, passengers, cargo, and aircraft at all times
- Operate with efficiency and environmental responsibility in line with company fuel and sustainability policies
- Deliver consistent On Time Performance to meet Etihad's commitment to reliability and guest satisfaction

Requirements
- Minimum 5,500 hours total flying time
- Minimum 2,500 PIC hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit aircraft
- Minimum 1,500 PIC hours on A320 family
- A320 family flown within the last 12 months
- Valid A320 type rating (minimum 2 months validity at joining)
- Unrestricted and current ICAO ATPL
- Current on A320
- Valid and unrestricted Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Must be under 59 years of age on joining date
- English Language Fluency Level 4 or higher (written and verbal)
- Current TRE/TRI is an advantage
