- No visible tattoos or piercings (one earring per lobe permitted for females)
- Clean criminal record
- Ability to travel without restrictions
- Willingness to serve alcohol (including during Ramadan)
- Compliance with UAE and GCAA requirements
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
