Breeze Airways is hiring part-time Flight Attendants for the New Orleans (MSY) crew base. Applicants must live within two hours of the airport and will receive paid training, uniform provision, and a monthly guarantee of 37.5 flying hours with progressive pay scales starting at $25/hour.
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without assistance
- Must have adequate head clearance in the cabin
- Ability to sit and buckle into E190 and A220 Flight Attendant jumpseat seatbelt harness
- Neat, well-groomed appearance
- Service-oriented attitude
- Adhere to CDC hygiene standards
- Fluent in English (read, write, speak, understand)
- Pass vision and hearing test
- Pass security screening training
- Pass DOT pre-employment drug test
- Pass TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check
- Pass Breeze background check
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
- Legal right to travel without restriction to/from the United States
- Current passport with minimum 6 months remaining validity
- Ability to serve alcoholic beverages
- Willing to relocate based on operational needs if applicable
- Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Able to report for assigned work trips at assigned base
- Able to work reserve assignments
- Self-starter with positive attitude
- Positive impression capability
- Nose piercings acceptable per guidelines (single 2mm stud, silver/gold/gemstone only)
- No teeth embellishments in uniform
- No more than two earrings per ear in uniform
- Tattoos visible if following company guidelines
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to read announcements clearly and give emergency commands
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to close overhead compartments with maximum 50-pound push/pull force
- Ability to assist disabled passengers with inflight wheelchair
- Ability to push/pull beverage and food carts with maximum 60-pound force
- Perform all safety-related procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict de-escalation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams at all levels
- Must live within two-hour driving distance from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport
- Complete Autism Awareness Training
- Conduct security screenings
- Capable of controlling emotional responses under high stress
